Terms of Service
Last updated
These terms cover using Postoro. They are written plainly on purpose — the parts that matter most are what we cannot guarantee, and the fact that every platform you connect has its own rules that still apply to you.
The short version
- Postoro is free. There is no paid tier and no trial that ends.
- Your content stays yours. We only publish what you schedule.
- We cannot guarantee a platform will accept a post. Platforms change rules, rate-limit, and sometimes reject content for their own reasons.
- Media is deleted 7 days after publishing — always keep your own originals.
- You are still bound by each platform’s own terms when you post through Postoro.
1.The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Cutlume, the operator of Postoro. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Postoro. If you are using Postoro on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to hold an account on every platform you connect.
2.What Postoro is
Postoro is a scheduling and publishing tool. You upload media, write captions, choose destinations and a time, and Postoro publishes to those platforms on your behalf using access you have granted.
Postoro is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Google, YouTube, Meta, Instagram, Facebook, ByteDance, TikTok or LinkedIn. All trademarks belong to their owners.
3.Your account
- Give an accurate email address — it is how we reach you about your account and how account recovery works.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think it has been compromised, use sign out everywhere in Settings and change your password.
- Only connect social accounts you own or are authorised to manage.
- One person or business, one account. Do not share logins.
4.Free of charge
Postoro does not charge for scheduling or publishing. The service is funded by advertising on the public pages of the website. We are not going to introduce a paywall in front of features you are already using and call it an upgrade.
Free does not mean unlimited. We may apply fair-use limits — on upload size, storage, or posting volume — to keep the service running for everyone. Where limits apply they will be visible in the product, not hidden.
5.Your content
You own everything you upload. We claim no ownership of your videos, images or captions.
You grant us only the narrow permission needed to operate the service: to store your content, process it (for example reading a video’s dimensions and duration to decide whether it publishes as a Short or a Reel), and transmit it to the platforms you select at the time you schedule. That permission ends when the content is deleted. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models and we do not licence it to anyone.
You are responsible for having the rights to what you post — including music, footage, images and anything featuring other people.
6.Platform rules apply too
Publishing through Postoro does not exempt you from any platform’s own terms, community guidelines or developer policies. When you post to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or LinkedIn through Postoro, you are bound by that platform’s rules exactly as if you had posted directly, and it can restrict or remove your content or your account under those rules. We have no control over and no responsibility for those decisions.
7.Using your own developer credentials
Most platforms connect through Postoro’s own application, and you never see a key. Some can instead be connected with your own developer credentials — useful if you post at high volume and would rather have your own API quota than share the pooled one.
If a platform charges for API access, those charges are billed by the platform directly to you on your own developer account. Postoro never adds a fee, and it will never connect you to a paid API without saying so first.
You are responsible for keeping your own developer credentials compliant with that platform’s developer terms. We store them encrypted and use them only to publish what you schedule.
8.What we cannot promise
This is the section worth reading twice, because it is where a scheduling tool actually fails you.
- Delivery is not guaranteed. A platform can be down, rate-limit us, change its API, expire a token, or reject a post for reasons it does not explain. Postoro retries what is worth retrying and shows you the error when it is not.
- Some platforms restrict new applications.Until an app passes a platform’s review or audit, that platform may force posts made through it to be private or visible only to the account owner. Where this applies, Postoro tells you rather than reporting a success — but the restriction is the platform’s, and we cannot override it.
- Timing is best-effort. Posts are published at the time you set, subject to platform availability and queue conditions. Treat the schedule as a target, not a contract.
- Availability is not guaranteed. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades or failures. It is provided free and without an uptime commitment.
9.Media retention
Media you upload is deleted automatically 7 days after the post publishes. This is what keeps the service free — video storage is the single largest cost of running it. Postoro is not a backup, archive or asset library. Always keep your own master files. We are not liable for media you no longer have a copy of.
10.Acceptable use
Do not use Postoro to:
- Post content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or privacy.
- Send spam, run engagement-farming or coordinated inauthentic posting, or operate networks of accounts you do not own.
- Post content that harasses, threatens, or sexualises minors, or that promotes violence or self-harm.
- Circumvent a platform’s rate limits, evade a ban or restriction, or misrepresent Postoro as an official platform tool.
- Attack the service — scraping, probing for vulnerabilities without permission, overwhelming it, or attempting to access another user’s data.
- Resell or rebrand Postoro as your own product without written permission.
Found a security vulnerability? Report it to hello@cutlume.com and give us a reasonable chance to fix it. Good-faith reports are welcome and will not be met with legal action.
11.Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using Postoro at any time, disconnect any platform from the Accounts page, and request deletion of your account and data by emailing hello@cutlume.com.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or endangers our standing with a platform. Except where the breach is serious or unlawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. If we discontinue Postoro, we will give reasonable notice so you can retrieve what you need.
12.Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Postoro is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue, lost followers, lost engagement, or lost data arising from your use of Postoro — including a post that failed to publish, published late, or was restricted by a platform. Because Postoro is provided free of charge, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is zero.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions — in which case those limits apply only as far as the law allows.
13.Changes to the service and these terms
Postoro will change — platforms come and go, and their APIs change under us. We may add, alter or remove features. If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email. Continuing to use Postoro after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your own country of residence.
